Connecting Youth Lens to Eleanor and Park

As we have read two different stories so far, Eleanor and Park is more fitting to connect to the idea of "Youth Lens". Eleanor and Park posses realistic backgrounds making the story connecting to the idea of youth lens. Youth lens consist of studying adolescents through education, media studies, youth studies, sociology and cultural studies. Other factors are included as well. But now that we know how Youth Lens plays a part in society we can definitely relate these categories to Eleanor and Park.
Through Education Eleanor  was smart. She was in two honors classes and maintained that throughout the story. At least I think she did. But she did not attend the best school ever. Her grades did not reflect upon what she was going through as far as failing, but instead she did mention that those classes were the only two that she could be in without people bothering her.
Youth Lens also uses a perspective lens to view and adolescents stage. For example, Eleanor had to grow up and mature for herself. she had to learn that handling the situation in a certain way would be the best option for her and her family. Also She became very dependent on Park, the only person that really was happiness in her eyes. So Youth lens is also a Emotional lens as well.
Social class plays a huge role in Eleanor and Park because the environment that they all lived in helped shape Eleanor's perspective about most things. All these things should be considered when viewing adolescents through a Youth Lens.
